This is a stop-motion animation, reverse time-lapse carving of a single watermelon. This video was created for a wedding Save The Date announcement. Wedding details have been removed (at the end of the video, the bride & groom’s names appear on the watermelon skin).

To get a sense of scale, here’s a photo of my hand next to the lobster.
